"I have a bad feeling. I’m scared about my life."

Michael Jackson reportedly wrote notes fearing for his life just weeks before he passed away in 2009.

According to The Sun, German businessman Michael Jacobshagen has uncovered the handwritten messages and will discuss his two-decade friendship with the King Of Pop in a forthcoming interview.

One of the notes references AEG; the promoters behind Jackson's sell-out This Is It tour, which was cancelled following his death on 25 June.

"AEG makes so much pressure to me. I have a bad feeling. I'm scared about my life. Call Joseph tomorrow," Jackson reportedly wrote in one note.

Another reads, "I'm afraid someone is trying to murder me," while a third handwritten note details "the system wants to kill me for my catalogue".

It is currently unclear who the notes were intended for.

The news comes months after Jackson's daughter, Paris Jackson, claimed her father was murdered.

"It sounds like a total conspiracy theory and it sounds like bullshit, but all real fans and everybody in the family knows it," Jackson said in January.

"It was a set-up. It was bullshit."

The interview with Jacobshagen is expected to air around the globe.
