Meshuggah receive smooth jazz makeover

Acclaimed Swedish tech-metal stalwarts Meshuggah have received a musical makeover (of sorts). Prominent internet music identity Andy Rehfeldt, responsible for jazzy mash-ups of the likes of Metallica and Lamb of God has turned his artistic gaze to Meshuggah’s highly regarded track ‘Bleed’, giving the song his signature quirky treatment.

Acclaimed Swedish tech-metal stalwarts Meshuggah have received a musical makeover (of sorts).

Prominent internet music identity Andy Rehfeldt, responsible for jazzy mash-ups of artists including Metallica and Lamb of God has turned his artistic gaze to Meshuggah’s highly regarded track ‘Bleed’, giving the song his signature quirky treatment. Consequently, the track has been transformed into a smooth jazz style.

It is not the first time ‘Bleed’ has been covered in a unconventional way, with an acapella version also posted earlier in the year.

Fans can check out the smooth jazz version of ‘Bleed’ here.

To view other musical arrangements by Rehfeldt, namely Disney versions of Slipknot and Behemoth as well as death metal covers of commercial artists including Miley Cyrus, you can visit his YouTube page at this location.
