Melody PoolRising indie-folk troubadours Melody Pool and Marlon Williams have announced the esteemed acts that will step into support slots of the pair’s expansive 22-date Australian tour, proudly presented by The Music, this month and next.
The tour kicks off at Geelong’s Beav’s Bar tonight, so it makes sense to start there, where Hunter Valley-bred Pool and Melburnian-by-way-of-New-Zealand Williams will be joined by local young indie/roots musician Oliver Friend before Kiwi expat Skyscraper Stan makes his first appearance at Melbourne’s show on July 18 (returning to the fold for Sydney’s August 2 gig).
Hobart-based performer Seth Henderson will open the shows in his home town and Launceston on July 24 and 25, respectively, while Max Savage steps in for Adelaide (July 26), Jacob Pearson for Kincumber (August 10), Josh Rennie-Hynes in Bellarine (August 15), David Craft in Fremantle (August 23), and Jacob Diamond rounds out the run as the tour’s final support, in Perth, on August 25.
Tickets are moving quickly for the tour, so although there are plenty of opportunities to catch the pair and their new friends in action, you wouldn’t want to dither.
See the Gig Guide, below, or The Music App for a comprehensive list of venue, date and ticketing information.
