Melbourne's iconic Corner Hotel has been a fixture of the city for nearly 20 years, and the staunch live music venue is set to celebrate in fitting style with a massive old night of festivities this November.
Set across three stages — and costing SFA at the door — the venue's 20th birthday bash will welcome performances from neo-soul/hip hop/funk ensemble Billy Davis, Brisbane dance peddlers Confidence Man, solo lovin' from Cosima Jaala, emergent four-piece Jade Imagine, young garage-pop prodigy Jarrow (solo), the always-entertaining LAZERTITS, Liz Mitchell of Totally Mild, rising acts SHOUSE and The Finks, and local faves Two Steps On The Water.
The evening will be padded out with sweet DJ sets from the Milk Records crew, MzRizk, DJ Slymewave (Big Scary) and the Rainbow Connection DJs.
It all goes down at the Corner on Sunday 20 November, with live acts in the bandroom, acoustic acts in the front bar and DJs upstairs so you can flutter between the stages with impunity and enjoy a solid session of Australian music in one of the city's best-known and best-loved spaces.
