Introducing Melbourne Pride - A Road To Pride, a free event as a part of the city's Rediscover Yarra program.
Taking place on February 13 at Melbourne's iconic Gertrude and Smith Street, the street party will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the decriminalisation of homosexuality within Victoria.
The one-day festival will honour the historical occasion with performances, music, keynote speakers, activities, community smalls and demonstrations.
The music front is headed up by the likes of Electric Fields, Alice Ivy, Kira Puru, Vetta Born and heaps more.
Melbourne Pride is a multi-generational and intersectional celebration, a State Government and City Of Yarra initiative to celebrate LGBTQIA+ culture with events and activities across the state of Victoria.
