“A woman willing to find love on a public platform is the confidence I need in a partner.”

Australia's premier dating show has returned, with The Bachelor being announced yesterday. Alongside the announcement, the show revealed there will be three new Bachelors looking to find love.

The show will be recorded on, of course, the Gold Coast, known for its "long sandy beaches, surfing spots, national parks, rainforest hinterland and picturesque skyline, nothing says Gold Coast glamour quite like the new Bachelor mansion," Channel 10 state.

One of the contestants is 25-year-old Mood Monroe drummer and songwriter Jed Macintosh from Victoria. He's looking for a woman who is confident, passionate and empathetic. How unique.

The show has described him as being a "sensitive man with a very big heart" beneath his "tough boy persona," and "impressive body art".

Macintosh lays out the law when it comes to his ideal partner simply, stating, “A woman willing to find love on a public platform is the confidence I need in a partner.”

Mood Monroe is a Melbourne-based dark pop band which they describe features "hard-hitting energetic productions with vulnerable storytelling, reminiscent of acts like Imagine Dragons and the Weeknd".
