Melbourne International Comedy Festival Drops First Line-Up

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival have announced their 2016 line-up.

The headliners are seasoned regulars from the inernational comedy scene which include Rich Hall, David O'Doherty, Arj Barker, Ross Noble and Paul Foot

The line-up also features emerging comics from North America and Europe, including Larry Dean, Adam Hess, Lou Sanders, Sofie Hagen and Mae Martin.

Comedy veterans Hal Cruttenden and Penny Arcade will also be making their MICF debuts.

Joel Dommett (Skins), Nish Kumar, controversial Canadian comic Tom Green and 2014 Festival faves Sara Pascoe, Alex Edelman, Luisa Omielan and Urzila Carlson will also make their return to Melbourne. 

The Australian contingent will be led by Celia Pacquola, Hannah Gadsby and Joel Creasey, and backed up by Anthony Morgan, Judith Lucy, Matt Okine, Tommy Little, Frank Woodley, Wil Anderson, Tom Gleeson, Sam Simmons, Peter Helliar, Sarah Kendall, Nazeem Hussain, Ali McGregor, Dave Thornton, Dave Hughes, Steen Raskopoulos, Tom Ballard, Anne Edmonds, Nick Cody, Carl Barron, Akmal, Em Rusciano, Lehmo, Lawrence Leung, Adam Richard, Charlie Pickering, Fiona O'Loughlin, Felicity Ward, Lawrence Mooney, Sammy J & Randy, Zoe Coombs Marr and Tripod.
