Red Ink will play in Sydney and at home over four weekends

Melburnian indie-poppers Red Ink have announced that they will be embarking on a four-date run of shows in support of their recently released self-titled debut album.

Written and recorded with the assistance of Berlin-based Aussie expat Simon Berckelman (he of Philadelphia Grand Jury fame), Red Ink presents the band's distinctively infectious, dancefloor-friendly vision – as demonstrated in catchy-as-balls lead single Going Insane – in one package that runs the emotional and aesthetic gamut from the upbeat and ebullient to the introspective and atmospheric.

Having toured the UK and Germany over the past couple of years and garnered themselves a reputation for their energetic live performances, fans can expect a world-class showing from the swiftly developing act, who are the sort of hard-working fellows who have managed to chalk up outrageous numbers of YouTube hits (in excess of 250,000) without the assistance of a label or money.
