Melbourne Fox & Fowl Show Suffers Late Venue Change

9 May 2014 | 5:00 pm | Staff Writer

The band will play at The Toff In Town

Brisbanians (Brisbanites? Brisbanians, right?), by way of Canberra, Fox & Fowl are standing at the cusp of their three-date tour in support of their debut EP, Jungle Punch, with the first show to go down in their adopted city tonight at the Black Bear Lodge.

However, fans expecting to see them at Black Night Crash in Melbourne on May 24 will have to rethink their plans for the evening, with the announcement coming today that their show has moved to The Toff In Town for reasons beyond the band's control.

Aside from the change, though, audiences can still expect that the band, whose EP was recorded in Brisbane by Yanto Browning (Art Of Sleeping, The Medics, The Jungle Giants), will bring the enthusiasm and energy for which they are gathering a quick reputation to each of their three shows on this tour.

The third gig will take place at Sydney's Mum at World Bar on Friday, May 23, with special guests Deepspace Supergroop and Miners, while tonight in Brisbane the band will be joined by Canyonero and The Worriers, with Young Mavericks stepping into the support shoes for the show at the Toff.

If you're a Brisbane fan and you can't make tonight's show (tickets will be available on the door), worry not – the quintet will be back your way on May 29 for a show at The Zoo with We Are Scientists.
