Coming this April.

More The Vasco Era More The Vasco Era

In what is a pleasant surprise for all Aussie music fans, now-defunct Melbourne bands The Vasco Era and Little Red have announced they will reform respectively for one night only in support of a charity gig.

Taking place at Corner Hotel on Sunday, 3 April the two bands will take to the stage alongside popular local acts, Dan Sultan, Big Scary and The Pretty Littles for the fundraiser show, which is aiming to raise money for a young girl who is currently battling cancer.

The Vasco Era announced the news on their Facebook page today with the status, "OK, so The Vasco Era are back for ONE SHOW ONLY. We'll be playing with all round legends/our good friends Dan Sultan, Big Scary, Little Red (also back for ONE SHOW ONLY) and The Pretty Littles."

Little Red officially split in 2012 with their last album, Midnight Remember, released in 2010, while The Vasco Era's last effort came in 2011 through the release of a self-titled record.
