Melb Rising Star Alexander Biggs Inks Deal With Sony Music

Indie roots creative Alexander Biggs laid a lot of groundwork in 2016 to ensure the 12 months that followed would push him above and beyond, and the Melbourne artist has now signed a deal with Sony Music Australia to help on that mission.

His latest soulful cut, Tidal Wave, lived up to its name and crashed into the Aus, US and UK charts last year, while debut offering Out In The Dark became an Unearthed favourite early on and saw Biggs become the 12th most played artists on triple j Unearthed last year – all within a year of releasing his first single.

Biggs’ brand of bedroom folk will be on display at The Gasometer in Melbourne tomorrow night, Feb 1, as he showcases material from his forthcoming EP due out later this year via Sony.
