Washington Announces Highly Anticipated New Album Via Lead Single ‘Dark Parts’

The long-awaited new Washington album is within reach, with the Aussie talent, aka Megan Washington, announcing her next LP will drop on August 28.

Washington’s last album, There There, dropped in 2014 and Dark Parts, the lead single from her forthcoming album, promises a huge follow-up.

Dark Parts has been described as “a bonkers, kind-of pop song that’s in 7/8 time”, a time signature famously used by the likes of Thom Yorke.

The new single is accompanied by a lyric video hand-drawn and animated by Washington.
