It's early days, but the genre they reckon they've invented - hippy angst - has got to make Sydney four-piece Razor Fairies worth checking out when they kick off their live career end of Aug

Sydney five-piece Razor Fairies describe their sound as "hippy angst", all about being free spirits haunted by emotion. They tell us they write songs about the stars, fire and love. Fronted by Jasmine Wilson, who was in a band called Kites, Razor Fairies also feature Luke "Drumstick" Willis, Jazz Garnett and Brooke Vella

They're playing their first actual live full band show at the soon to close Lewisham and they've been added to the Marrickville Festival lineup in Oct, but Razor Fairies really want to see you at Raw in Sep. For details on all of the above, check into theGuide.
