After taking a year off in 2024, the beloved Meadow music festival has announced its triumphant returning, revealing the dates and first headlining act for its final outing.

The 2025 edition of Meadow will return to the Bambra Bowl from March 21 – 23, for the tenth and final installation of the event.

Though the full lineup is yet to be revealed, organisers have revealed that headlining the festival will be MJ Lenderman, the US singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who rose to fame as part of the band Wednesday.

This year has seen Lenderman release his fourth solo album, Manning Fireworks, which received universal widespread acclaim upon its arrival.

The beloved Meadow festival has spent the last decade becoming a favourite of Victorian music fans thanks to its intimate existence and the intense, tight-knit community it fostered.

“From little things, something bigger grows and then disappears again,” organisers said. “So, this is it. The last lap.

“From our beginnings, on the back of a delivery truck, powered by a borrowed generator, in a mate's paddock in Bambra. Meadow grew,” they added. “And now it disappears again.”

Over the years, the festival’s small, yet iconic, stage has hosted the likes of Camp Cope, King Stingray, Angie McMahon, Lucy Dacus, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and much more.

In 2023, the event featured the likes of Kurt Vile & The Violators, Black Midi, Jen Cloher, and more, though organisers announced it would be taking a year off in 2024.

“The 2024 event will not be held due to ongoing financial impact of COVID on the economy and subsequent downturn in discretionary spending — in particular with relation to arts-based events,” a planning application from the festival said, as per the Surf Coast Times.

However, a 2025 return remained hopeful, and with the stars aligning, Meadow will indeed have one last outing for its tenth event. “One - Full Circle,” organisers said. “1 - 0.”

Limited release tickets to Meadow are now on sale ahead of general release tickets going on sale from November 20th, with glamping options also available.
