With Sydney rapper Scott "MC Kerser" Barrow's 2014 album, King, picking up a top ten debut on the ARIA Albums Chart as well as #1 on the Carlton Dry Independent Music Charts last year, it's no surprise that Kerser's follow-up would be released following a deal with major label, Warner Music Australia.

Announcing the signing on his Facebook page, Kerser names the title of his fifth full-length — Next Step — along with its release date, 13 November.

He writes, "This will be the first album released on ABK RECORDS distributed by ADA (Warner Music Australia). I could'nt be more happy with this deal and the things we have planned."

Kerser's previous four albums were released on independent hip hop label, Obese Records. Kerser also confirms a 2016 tour is on the way, with more news coming soon.
