More Kerser More Kerser

British boy band One Direction debut at number on the ARIA Albums Chart this week with Four while love-to-hate US rockers Nickelback debut at three with No Fixed Address.

However, it is Sydney rapper Kerser who claims the title of 'highest local debut' as his King album enters at nine. Last month he peaked at number two on the Music DVD Chart with his SCOT 2014 National Tour set, having scored his biggest single to date with SCOT last year going top twenty.

In the ARIA Singles Chart, Taylor Swift moves into top spot with Blank Space, knocking Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud to second place. Both singles were too strong for the controversial 30th anniversary re-recording of Do They Know It's Christmas? by Band Aid

The highest debut for a local artist this week is by Will Sparks (featuring Wiley and Elen Levon), his Ah Yeah So What coming in at four — his highest chart placement to date.
