It's a pretty rough time for tour cancellations, with George Michael pulling the pin on his scheduled massive tour and now, just this afternoon Martika has announced that she will no longer be making her way to Australia for her first ever tour of the country, which was scheduled to start on Saturday night.
The pop starlet has enjoyed a large amount of success in Australia over the years and news of her impending visit had plenty of people excited about finally getting the chance to witness her live. Alas, the tour cannot go ahead, though both Martika and the tour promoters are determined to make these shows happen some time in the future.
For now, though, you'll need to get a refund. If you purchased your tickets through a retail outlet then you'll have to return to point of purchase with your tickets and photo ID to obtain a refund. If you paid with your credit card over the phone or internet, your refund should be processed automatically to the card you used to purchase the tickets with ten business days.
