Navigating the art of ‘the dad joke’ can be a complex task, but for Aussie lawyer-turned-comic Mark Swivel it’s a breeze – sort of.
Following on from his acclaimed How Deep Is Your Love? show, Swivel delivers Dad. Joke., a set based around preparing a speech for his son’s 21st and it not coming together too well. When you’re lawyer and comic, people will have high expectations, turning a casual speech into a major project.
Swivel’s “how-not-to-guide on parenting” wraps at Melbourne Comedy Festival in April after headline dates in Brisbane, Bello, Newcastle, Sydney and more throughout February and March.
