Brisbane's Marathon have called it a day according to a recent online post.
A statement reads:
"2008-2015
This band is done.
At the end, we were Max Buchanan, Michael Nix, Ryan Sim & Stu Ross.
In total, we & whatever we might have achieved were the sum total of many people's efforts:
Craig Johnson, Nick Lucas, Matt Cook, Luke Smith, Nick Bellringer, Lochlan Watt, Sam Saljooghi, Christopher Brownbill, Mark Perry, Greg Bower, Craig Wainwright, Oliver Cation, Josh Howes, Jordan Leekspin, Alix Katala & Christopher Phengrasmy.
Thanks for everything."
Marathon supported Every Time I Die and Birds in Row on respective tours in 2015.
The band released their debut album, 'Cure' in 2014.
