Featured as an artist to watch earlier in the year, Swedish songstress MAPEI has finally revealed the details of her anticipated debut album release, Hey Hey, which is due out on September 23. Whilst her 2013 track 'Don't Wait' kept the hype-wheel turning, the singer has kept a relatively low-profile and further built a shroud of intrigue through this.

With her emotive vocals, a strength in her delivery and effortless tone, MAPEI has an uncanny ability with anthemic pop rooted in RnB vibes. Much like 'Don't Wait' showcased these traits, her newest single 'Change' doesn't shy away from what the listeners have already fallen for.

Twinkling keys, finger snaps, military-esque percussion with offbeat horns and synth lines, 'Change' is as instantaneously catchy as it is one of those 'empowerment' songs'; booming chorus and protest-like chants as MAPEI sings 'Don't you worry about a thing my brother, a little love is all it takes. Don't you worry about a thing my sister, we're all waiting for a change.'  Whilst her two singles share similar characteristics, it'll be interesting to hear what else she has to offer come album release day.
