Mantis And The Prayer Announce Pre-Release Party

Originally from New York, Mantis, frontman and singer-songwriter of Mantis & The Prayer, has settled down in Melbourne and sourced a new line-up for the otherworldly outfit.

Together they have created a debut LP titled Butterflies & Demons, a collection of songs packed with gothic and ethereal sounds described as a hybrid of Bowie, Nick Cave and Arcade Fire, which is pegged for release in the near future. Before the launch proper though Mantis & The Prayer are having a pre-release show at Retreat Hotel 2 June, where you can get an free advance copy of the album by dressing as either a butterfly or a demon. As an added bonus Siyor and Triumph Over Logic are adding their own unique magic to the bill.
