APRA AMCOS has announced the guest line-up for its 2019 High Score: Composition & Sound Art For Gaming event.
This year will see the event expand to two days and will include a joint keynote from games composers Manami Matsumae (Mega Man series) and Takahiro Izutani (Metal Gear Solid series).
"I am very thankful to have been invited to speak at High Score," shared Matsumae.
"This is my first time in Australia, so I am looking forward to meeting with and exchanging knowledge and skills with gamers, fans and fellow musicians. See you in October!"
They'll be joined at the event by the likes of Game Boy composer Niamh Houston aka Chipzel, Kenny McAlpine and The Melbourne Chiptune Academy who take part in a panel discussion about the chiptune style.
Double J presenter and composer Tim Shiel, composer and audio designer Belinda Coomes, composer Christopher Larkin, sound designer Anne-Marie Weber, The Otherworld Agency’s Fabian Malabello and more will all make appearances at this year's event.

"The thriving local games industry fosters global opportunities for Australian music creators," said High Score program manager Greg Morrow.
"Composing music and sound for games requires a unique skill set, and the programming of High Score is a reflection of that."
"We encourage composers and musicians of all levels to attend High Score, as well as games developers and industry who want to learn more and meet the people making music in games."
