"All my albums have layers of eclecticism to them, but with this album I wanted to take that even further."
LA-based French electronic act M83 have announced a set of Australian shows in conjunction with the announcement of their newest studio record, Junk, out this April 8.
Lucky for fans, they've already released a taste of the new album in the form of Do It, Try It — the official audio video also features a damn puppy having a psychedelic jam to the track so it's definitely worth your while.
The brains behind M83, Anthony Gonzalez, says of Junk, "All my albums have layers of eclecticism to them, but with this album I wanted to take that even further."
M83's tour will stop by Melbourne's Forum Theatre on Tuesday, 10 May first, followed by Brisbane's Tivoli and Sydney's Enmore Theatre on 14 and 16 May respectively, all joined by special guest Japanese Wallpaper.
