New Zealander joins Flume, Tame Impala and Alicia Keys

Just in case your news feed didn't have a Lorde mention today, the New Zealand star has been added to the line-up of artists performing at this week's ARIA Awards.

The 17-year-old breakout has had one of the biggest years in music, with her single Royals breaking all sorts of records in the antipodes and around the world. Followed by her album Pure Heroine, she has become truly inescapable.

ARIA's CEO Dan Rosen said today, “Lorde is an extremely talented artist and performer and one of the biggest artists in the world right now, so we are thrilled to be able to welcome her to this year's ARIA Awards as a special guest performer.”

Also performing on the night are Flume, Tame Impala, Bliss N Eso and international guest Alicia Keys.
