Lorde is set to return to Australia in 2022!
The New Zealand-born global star is set to return Down Under for her first local tour in five years.
The tour will kick off at Brisbane's Riverstage on Thursday 10 March 2022 and then head to Melbourne's Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Sydney's Aware Super Theatre and then wrap up at Perth's Belvoir Amphitheatre.
Dubbed the Solar Power Tour, the run is in celebration of her forthcoming third album of the same name, which has been announced for release on 20 August.
The album will be released as a first-of-its-kind, special edition Music Box release as an environmentally conscious alternative to CD. This will include extra visual content, handwritten notes, exclusive photos, and a download card, which will give purchasers a high-quality download of the music, two exclusive bonus track and additional "surprises".
"I decided early on in the process of making this album that I also wanted to create an environmentally kind, forward-thinking alternative to the CD," said Lorde.

"I wanted this Music Box product to be similar in size, shape and price to a CD, to live alongside it in a retail environment, but be something which stands apart and that’s committed to the evolving nature of a modern album."
The singer shared her first new music earlier this month with the single Solar Power.
"It’s my divine pleasure to be introducing you, at long last, to my third studio album, Solar Power," said Lorde in an email to fans about the album earlier this month.
"The album is a celebration of the natural world, an attempt at immortalising the deep, transcendent feelings I have when I’m outdoors. In times of heartache, grief, deep love, or confusion, I look to the natural world for answers. I’ve learnt to breathe out, and tune in. This is what came through."

This is the first new music from Lorde since her album Melodrama in June 2017. Home to singles like Green Light, Perfect Places and Homemade Dynamite, the album claimed the #1 spot on charts across Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the US.
Melodrama was the follow-up to Lorde's 2013's debut album, Pure Heroine, which included her mega-hit Royals.
Tickets for the tour go on sale from 12pm local time on Wednesday 5 July, with pre-sale kicking off from Monday 28 June. Head to theGuide for all the info.
