The Melbourne boys are back!
Melbourne indie-pop/rock outfit Loon Lake are back with a new single and a couple of headline shows.
The quintet have just dropped Surfin', another catchy, easy on the ears party-anthem, which the band are calling a return to form after taking some time out after touring their last record Gloamer.
"We had made a plan to return to how we used to do things, to just jam out to anything that seemed like fun," said vocalist Sam Nolan, who recently underwent vocal surgery.
"I remember just thinking about a character in my head, he doesn't care and is kinda shit at stuff, but just thinks about Saturday night. So I based the lyrics around that character. We found the charm in our sound and I’m excited. For me, this song captures everything good about Loon Lake."
