Look Out, Mariah Carey: Aussie Beer Company Launches New Xmas Anthem

It’s not even December yet and Christmas jingles are beginning to take over the airwaves in full force.

If you’ve already had enough of the same old Christmas tunes – we’re looking at you, Mariah Carey and Bublé – then Carlton Dry is here to save the day with a new tongue-in-cheek cover, The Most Wonderful Time For A Beer.

“We know there are plenty of Aussies out there who aren’t terribly stoked about Christmas and are getting a touch over listening to the same songs about a ‘perfect’ Christmas every year,” Carlton Dry Associate Director Hayden Turner said.

“This song is for them. And in the spirit of some healthy Christmas competition, we’ve made it our only Christmas wish to dismantle Queen Mariah’s throne, even just for one day.”
