Local Natives Announce Australian Club Shows

They're here in May in support of their new album.

More Local Natives More Local Natives

When they burst onto the international scene in 2009, Local Natives were subject to the kind of praise that up and coming bands dream of. It was well deserved too, their part-intricate, part-shambolic sound was undoubtedly captivating, as we heard on their debut LP Gorilla Manor, and soon we have the chance to see if the band can live up to those lofty heights they hit when they release their new record Hummingbird this Friday.

The band have announced they will hit Australian soil for three quick shows this May in support of the record, dropping by to give fans a chance to see them performing these brand new songs as well as the tunes from that first record that still sound so good.

Dates are as follows, tickets are on sale from Friday 1 February at 9am.

Wednesday 15 May – Metro Theatre, Sydney
Saturday 18 May – Forum Theatre, Melbourne
Sunday 19 May – The Zoo, Brisbane
