Local Band's Gear Stolen Outside Popular Sydney Venue

Sydney-based group DISPOSSESSED have revealed they were robbed of around $5000 worth of band equipment outside popular live music venue The Factory Theatre on Saturday night. 

The indigenous band were at the Marrickville venue in support of the BAD Festival which they were scheduled to play alongside names including Big White. 

Taking to his personal account on Saturday evening, guitarist Serwah Attafuah announced that drum equipment, guitars and pedals were stolen.

"Hi, DISPOSSESSED just got jacked for all our gear tonight in marrickville out side the factory theatre," Attafuah's post reads.

"About 5000+ worth of stuff, Please keep an eye out for sus cunts around this area with black gear bags."

The Music has reached out to DISPOSSESSED and The Factory Theatre for comment.
