One of Lizzo’s dreams has come true – this Sunday, 21 May, she will have a cameo appearance on the season 34 finale of The Simpsons.
After appearing on Sesame Street and The Mandalorian, Lizzo’s latest cameo ticks another iconic television series off anyone’s bucket list.
“Every Icon has been on The Simpsons – now I can add my name to the list! Thank you to the whole team for making this a dream come true,” the Special singer wrote on Instagram, sharing a clip of the upcoming episode.
In the teaser snippet, Lizzo suggests to Lisa Simpson, “How ’bout I get Sasha Flute, you get your saxo-mo-phone, and we jam!” The Simpsons’ season 34 finale is called Homer’s Adventure Through The Windshield Glass. You can watch season 34 of the iconic series on Disney+.
The video also shows Lizzo wearing a suit designed by her shapewear brand, Yitty. She confirmed: "Yes, I'm wearing Yitty and playing Sasha Be Fluting!!!!" You can watch the video teaser here and view an image of Lizzo with the Simpson family here.
Last month, Lizzo appeared on The Mandalorian as the Dutchess Of Plazir-15. She was married to Jack Black’s character, Captain Bombardier.

With the Dutchess’ inheritance of the independent planet, Plazir-15 is a utopia ruled as part democracy and part monarchy.
As Entertainment Weekly reports, the two share lines like, “For now, you must live in exile on the moon of Paraqaat!” and Lizzo wound up knighting Grogu, aka Baby Yoda (remember when Lizzo dressed as Grogu for Halloween?). The celebrity cameos didn't stop there - Back To The Future's Christopher Lloyd played the episode's antagonist.
In February, Lizzo was gifted a flute made of cookies by Elmo, but it didn't take long for Cookie Monster to appear and cause havoc mid-performance on Sesame Street.
Lizzo explained to Elmo, "I’ve played a lot of instruments, but I’ve never played a cookie before. May I?" Elmo instantly started dancing before Cookie Monster appeared, hungry for something other than music.
"That was the one and only cookie flute," Lizzo commented after her cookie flute suddenly disappeared, with only crumbs left behind. "I know; how can me not eat it? What an honour," Cookie Monster responded.
You can catch Lizzo headlining Splendour In The Grass or at a headline show in July.
