'I am excited to be able to continue to work with them to deliver unforgettable live experiences to music fans.'
Live Nation Australia CEO Michael Coppel has today been announced as Chairman for the world's largest live entertainment company.
Coppel has served as CEO and President of Live Nation since 2012 and has led the company's expansion in the region, including winning the bid for the management of St Kilda's Palais Theatre and the recent acquisition of Secret Sounds.
In his new role, Coppel, who came in at #5 on 2016's AMID Power 50, will continue to service his long-term industry relationships, mentor the company's growing team and look for new opportunities to grow Live Nation's business in the region.
"We have built a great team over the last five years, and I am excited to be able to continue to work with them to deliver unforgettable live experiences to music fans across Australia and New Zealand," Coppel said.
