Limited Tickets Released For Cold Chisel's 50th Anniversary Tour

Cold Chisel’s massive 23-date 50th-anniversary tour begins this Saturday (5 October), and ahead of the tour finally taking place, the band have announced that limited tickets have been released for a majority of shows.

Now that final production layouts have been confirmed, additional tickets have been released for the first official show this Saturday at Petersons Winery in Armidale; both nights at Sandalford Wines, Swan Valley (Saturday, 19 October and Sunday, 20 October) and Victoria Park in Ballarat (Saturday, 9 November). 

Smaller quantities of tickets will be available for all other dates, excluding the Big Top Tent shows in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.

Almost all dates on Cold Chisel’s upcoming tour sold out within minutes.

Fans who have signed up to a ticketing agency waitlist (i.e. Ticketmaster or Ticketek) for a particular show will have first access to tickets from now. Remaining tickets will be released to the general public from midday local time today; check the Cold Chisel website for more information.

In addition to the newly released tickets, a press release reveals that residents living in Armidale will have special access to an extra 500 tickets available for this weekend’s show at Petersons Winery.

The separate release of tickets for residents goes on sale this Wednesday and will be open to punters who can prove they live in the following postcodes: 2350, 2365, 2358 and 2453. A maximum of two tickets purchased applies.

In recent Cold Chisel news, the band announced that they’d reprise their The Barking Spiders moniker – a name they used for rehearsals back in the ‘80s – for a warm-up show ahead of the tour. The show will take place at Anita’s Theatre in Thirroul tomorrow.
