Three months after starting an OnlyFans account to sell photos of her feet, Lily Allen shared that she makes more money from selling said pics than from Spotify.

Allen posts photos of her feet on the service for a monthly fee of $10 USD ($15). Since she started selling the photos in early July, she said the income stream from OnlyFans outweighs what she makes from Spotify streams monthly.

She shared the claim on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Saturday (26 October). Over the weekend, someone quote-tweeted her post about her archive of photos on OnlyFans and wrote, “Imagine being one of the biggest pop stars/musicians in Europe and then being reduced to this.”

Refusing to let shaming stand by, Allen replied, “Imagine being [an] artist and having nearly 8 million monthly listeners on Spotify but earning more money from having 1000 people subscribe to pictures of your feet. Don’t hate the player, hate the game.”

After launching her OnlyFans, Allen opened up about the “eye-opening” and “horrible” abuse she received since starting the account.

Discussing the messages she received in the two weeks after starting her OnlyFans on the Miss Me? podcast with Miquita Oliver, Allen explained, “It is going very well. It’s been a real eye-opener.

“Obviously, after our podcast last week, it had been quite widely reported about me and my foray into creating feet content. I’ve had a lot of disparaging, horrible messages in my DMs. I’m talking really personal, nasty.”

Adding that she had been on the receiving end of abuse from men making judgmental comments about her choices, Allen said, “It seems to me what I’m taking from these, mainly men, is that women should only really be selling images of herself or access to her body when it is an absolute last resort.”

Lily Allen’s most recent album, No Shame, was released in June 2018, and she toured Australia in February 2019. You can find The Music’s review of her show at the Enmore Theatre here.
