A release date for Lil Wayne’s new record “Rebirth” has finally been set. Old mate has been talking about dropping this LP for nigh on a year now, but it’s been pushed back many times. Billboard has reported that the album will drop on December 15th through Cash Money/Universal.

A release date for Lil Wayne’s new record “Rebirth” has finally been set. Old mate has been talking about dropping this LP for nigh on a year now, but it’s been pushed back many times. Billboard has reported that the album will drop on December 15th through Cash Money/Universal.

 

Wayne has gone all rock on this one, playing guitar on most tracks and reportedly calling on friends like Travis Barker, Lenny Kravitz, Drake, and Fall Out Boy to give him a hand on the album.

The Rebirth album will be packaged as a double CD with “We Are Young Money”, an album from Lil Wayne’s Young Money Crew. Wayne is also about to release a doco titled ‘The Carter’. The film was shown at this years Sundance Film Festival and is set for release on November 17.
