It’s been over a decade since Oasis called it quits and fans have been desperately hoping for a reunion ever since.
Many wish the Gallagher brothers had never parted ways to begin with, and Liam is among them.
In a recent interview with The Times, the Splendour In The Grass-bound rocker has once again stated he's interested in reuniting with Noel for an Oasis reunion.
“I’d love Oasis to get back together. If it happens, it happens,” he said. “We should never have split up, but we did, and this is where we’re at.”
On their fallout in 2009, Liam added: “I thought we’d be the Stones, doing it until the day we died. We might have had a break, gone off and done our own thing, and then got back on it. For it to implode like that was disastrous. I went off the rails a bit when it happened, because it was the thing that glued my life together.”

Liam did state however he was “quite happy” with his solo career – his third solo album, C’mon You Know, is slated for release in May.
Last November, a documentary, Oasis Knebworth 1996, was released that chronicled Oasis’ record-breaking two-night stay at Knebworth Park in the UK.
Liam is slated to return to the venue around his new album, something he said during his interview with The Times might not sit too well with Noel.
“I’m sure deep down he’s happy, he’s not all bad. But there’s going to be a bit of ‘the fucker’s out and about again.’ If he was doing Knebworth I’d be livid," he said.
“I don’t care how much money you’ve got, how many houses you’ve got, how many celebrity mates, when you get home you’d be sitting there thinking, ‘Fucker.’ But the geezer’s got many faces, so he can hide behind one of them.”
As Variety notes, Noel has previously stated he would reunite the band for £100 million – in response, Liam said he would do it for free.
