Finally Returning To Australia, Faithless Are Paying Homage To The Beloved Maxi Jazz While Looking To The Future

Let Them Eat Cake Returns This New Year's Day

Expanded music, food and arts programs are set for this year.

The first Let Them Eat Cake event took place on New Year's Day of 2013, and with a line-up that included the likes of Flying Lotus, The Gaslamp Killer, DJ Marky, Kerri Chandler, Space Dimension Controller and Theo Parrish it's no surprise it was such a success.

Event organisers have today confirmed that the festival will return to Werribee Mansion on New Year's Day 2014 and will expand their music, arts and culinary programs in this second instalment.

The beauty and convenience of its location – set on ten hectares of parkland close to the CBD – will no doubt be incentive for revellers to head there for some New Year's frivolity and once they're in the gates the “bawdy extravagance”, as organisers put it, will blow minds.

We'll be sure to let you know as soon as we know who will be playing the second instalment of the event; announcement is due in September. Given the quality of last year, we have high expectations.
