The rock superstar will headline the event's opening night
Rock veteran and icon Lenny Kravitz has been added as a headliner to next year's massive Bluesfest.
The soulful guitar maestro will perform to punters on the festival's opening night and will take the stage with his full band, meaning there will be 16 musicians, including himself, performing.
This will be Kravitz debut for the Byron Bay event and as Director Peter Noble said: "He is the icing on the cake, for what is shaping to be one of our best ever Bluesfest's and we sure are putting an awful lot of icing on our Bluesberry cake this year."
The veteran released his fourth album Strut in September.
