British dance music pioneers Leftfield are heading to Australia for the first time in eight years in 2026, continuing their 35th anniversary celebrations (36 at the time of writing).

The group will launch their March 2026 tour in New Zealand, starting at Auckland’s Powerstation on Sunday, 1 March, and performing at Meow Nui in Wellington on Monday, 2 March. They’ll also perform at Christchurch’s Electric Avenue Festival on Saturday, 28 February.

From there, they head to Australia for a handful of East Coast dates, beginning at Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Thursday, 5 March, followed by Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Saturday, 7 March, and concluding at Live At The Gardens in Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens on Sunday, 8 March.

Frontier Members can access pre-sale tickets on Monday, 8 December, at 11 am local time before the general sale opens on Wednesday, 10 December, at 12 pm local time. You can find additional ticketing information on the Frontier Touring website.

In Brisbane and Sydney, Leftfield will be joined by Australia’s Godfather of Techno, Late Nite Tuff Guy. For their Live At The Gardens show, Late Nite Tuff Guy will appear alongside acclaimed Australian electronic artist Paul Mac, who will play a DJ set. Special guests for the group’s New Zealand shows will be announced soon.

Speaking on Leftfield’s anniversaries, Neil Barnes said, “It will be 36 years since I released the first Leftfield track, ‘Not Forgotten’, and 31 years now of Leftism. It feels like the perfect time to celebrate and I’m so pleased that finally we get to come back to New Zealand and Australia. Let’s make it unforgettable. Can’t wait to see you there!”
