Forming in Sunderland, UK over 2 decades ago, Leatherface’s legacy has spanned across 7 studio albums, countless 7″s and vinyl releases, 2 discographies and of course their much loved 1999 split with Hot Water Music.
With the original song-writing team of Frankie Stubbs and Dickie Hammond finally back together, Leatherface entered the studio last year to record their latest full-length ‘The Stormy Petrel’ (Poison City/ No Idea) arguably their finest work since the 1991 cult classic ‘Mush’.
Having already been announced as headliners for Poison City’s Weekender Fest, Leatherface will also be hitting Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and Adelaide as part of their 2010 Japan/ Australia tour.
