'Cheer Squad' released as album teaser

More Leadfinger More Leadfinger

Leadfinger have released a brand new digital single through the record label Conquest Of Noise, accompanied by a stop animation clip. The new single Cheer Squad was recorded in mid-2015, during the production of the band's upcoming album, FRIDAY NIGHT HEROES.

The tune revolves around alienation through today's social media context, performed with interweaving '70s style guitar riffs and a roaring rhythm section that will teleport you back to the thriving punk era of Motorhead and Thin Lizzy.

As a non-album exclusive single release, two other preview tracks (Three Brothers and The Main I Used To Be) will be added to any buyer's purchase through Bandcamp within the next month. Their launch will happen on 29 Jan at Marrickville Bowling Club.
