Cheer about Cheer Squad.

More Leadfinger More Leadfinger

High-energy '70s-style rockers Leadfinger have recorded and released a new single Cheer Squad with an accompanying stop-motion animated video.

They'll be launching it in their hometown of Wollongong on 27 Feb at Dicey Riley’s Hotel, with support from Space Junk, Witch Fight and Love Buzz.

Cheer Squad is a non-album exclusive release that comes with The Man I Used To Be, a little taste of their upcoming 2016 LP Friday Night Heroes, and if purchased this month, also includes Three Brothers, another bonus track that won't show up on the album. The tracks are packed with the band's trademark interweaving guitars and run-away rhythm section reminiscent of Motorhead or Thin Lizzy, while maintaining contemporary themes and lyrics.
