The ladies in Melburnian garage punk outfit Lazertits have gotten creative this Christmas with a cheesy, hilarious 2017 calendar, complete with awkward poses, terrible (but deliberately so) Photoshopping and even a Donald Trump appearance.

The band explain, "Being a bunch of dorks who have always fantasised about making a themed calendar of mates, for mates, we ran with the idea when suggested by a friend. Also, it was just really fun to make… we commissioned photographer extraordinaire Simon Aubor, and asked him to degrade his highly professional Photoshop skills to give us the amateur green-screen look we wanted!"

The outfit are also donating 50% of the profits to Minus 18, a charity that aids Australian gender diverse young people to get peer mentoring and mental health support.

"The remaining 50% will be put towards recording our debut album in April 2017," Lazertits state.

The band have also lay out their first Sydney shows ever — they'll be heading to play two free shows on January 20 and 21.
