LANY Reveal 2026 Australian Tour Dates

For the first time, Australian fans will hear songs from LANY’s latest album, 'Soft,' in October and November.

American pop-rock band LANY are returning to Australia this year, today announcing their largest tour of the country to date.

LANY last performed in Australia in November 2024 – all shows sold out – following a quick, two-night stint in August 2023 and a full-blown tour in 2022. So, to say the group try to make it to Australia as often as possible is an understatement.

For the first time, Australian fans will hear songs from LANY’s latest album, Soft. The tour begins at Perth’s Ice Cream Factory: Outdoor on Tuesday, 27 October. It continues at Melbourne’s John Cain Arena on Wednesday, 18 November, and Sydney’s TikTok Entertainment Centre on Friday, 20 November, and concludes at Brisbane’s Riverstage on Sunday, 22 November.

LANY are touring in support of their new album, Soft, which was released in October 2025.

Discussing the group’s sixth album, frontman Paul Klein said, “In this world of sin and brokenness - adversity is constant, betrayal is rampant, and disappointment is inevitable. The easiest thing would be to let life and people harden you and turn you numb. But then, what is the point of being alive if you can’t feel anything? For me, forgiveness was and is the only way forward.”

The new record was produced entirely by Tommy King and co-written by Klein. It showcases the duo at their most refined and intentional, drawing inspiration from late 1990s and early 2000s R&B.

Last week, LANY dropped Soft 2 – the sequel to last year’s album. It contrasts hard and soft thematically, juxtaposing tangible, physical hardness with accompanying softness. Soft is the follow-up to 2023’s top five album, a beautiful blur.
