This should be worth the wait.

More Ladyhawke More Ladyhawke

After four long years, one-woman synth-pop act Ladyhawke (Pip Brown) is making her return with her third studio album, Wild Things, set for release this June.

The forthcoming record is to be the former Modular artist's first offering since 2012's Anxiety and commenting on Wild Things, Brown said, "People wonder why there’s always a massive gap between my albums. I've never released anything I'm not proud of. That’s important to me. I don’t want to release anything that I have a weird feeling about."

Brown suggested that the new album has given her a "sense of purpose".

"Even if it took me months or years to get that purpose, as soon as I finished that record it was like an unbelievable weight was lifted off my shoulders,” she said

"Everything I wrote was all the stuff I was going through. I got it out of my system, exorcised it from my soul."

With the album set for release on 3 June, the first single from the EP, A Love Song, has also just dropped.
