Stoners get ready, there’s some riffs comin’.

Two of the world's finer stoner rock bands of the moment are going to be in the country for Soundwave this year and news that both Kyuss Lives and Red Fang will come together for a couple of massive Sidewave shows have our little stoner hearts brimming with joy.

This tour will be the final ever run of dates for Kyuss Lives so fans of the group, born from arguably the most important stoner rock band of our time, will not want to miss them on this trip. Currently comprised of John Garcia, Brant Bjork, Bruno Fevery and Nick Oliveri, these guys need no introduction to anyone who has a love of classic heavy music and they're one band all heavy music lovers need to witness.

Portland's Red Fang might not have been around for anywhere near as long as the members of Kyuss Lives, but they are one of the bands who are taking the music that Kyuss made so popular in the early-mid '90s, adding a touch of modern panache and proving that rock'n'roll will never die. Their second record Murder The Mountains saw them attract plenty of attention around the world and we can't wait to finally see the group live!

This bullshit good double bill hits the following venues, tickets are available from Thursday 10 January.
