Screen Australia announce funding for the likes of Julia 'Sleeping Beauty' Leigh, Kriv 'Red Dog' Stenders, and Greg 'Wolf Creek' McLean.

Screen Australia has announced that it will provide almost $400,000 in support to 16 feature projects. This includes ten new projects and continued support for a further six.

Projects include Sleeping Beauty director Julia Leigh adapting her second novel, Disquiet; a musical set to the music of Kylie Minogue from Red Dog director Kriv Stenders; Abe Forsyth's "dark comedy about racism set during the Cronulla riots" under executive producer Greg McLean; and Nim's Island: The Return Of The Pirates.
