Kylie Minogue Parts Ways With Jay Z's Roc Nation

The singer signed on with the label two years ago

More Kylie Minogue Kylie Minogue

Australian pop royalty Kylie Minogue has split with record label Roc Nation, according to a report from Billboard.

Minogue joined the record label owned by Jay Z in late 2012 following an amicable parting with long-time manager Terry Blamey. She released one album, Kiss Me Once, during her tenure with the label, in addition to fulfilling coaching duties on the Australian and British versions of The Voice.

"I've had an amazing time with Roc Nation and it's been fantastic to team up with them over the last two years," Minogue said in a statement.

"We got together at a period in my life when I wanted to shake things up. I loved collaborating with Roc on the Kiss Me Once album, world tour and DVD and have made great friends in the process. I'm now looking forward to my upcoming summer gigs and embarking on new adventures. And I want to thank everyone at Roc Nation who have been on this incredible ride with me."

It doesn't seem as though the split has had too negative effect on Minogue's prospects, however; she recenty wrapped up her Kiss Me Once arena tour at home in Australia, with her sights now set on a European sojourn in June.
