Kylie MinogueKylie Minogue has gone to number one in America, with her track Skirt pushing into number one on the Dance/Club Play Charts.
The track had been threatening to take the top spot for a number of weeks and spent two weeks at two before dethroning Avicii's Wake Me Up! today. Skirt has now spent nine weeks in the genre chart.
It it believed to be the tenth time Minogue has topped the Dance/Club Play.
In the same chart the new track from fellow Aussie Havana Brown, Flashing Lights, jumped six spots to 30 in its third week. Minogue's Skirt also received a boost in the Dance/Electronic Songs chart, gaining five positions to sit at 18.
Break out New Zealand youngster Lorde continues her unwavering march into the American market, her track Royals is dominating the rock charts at sits at number one on the Hot Rock Songs, Rock Airplay Songs, Rock Digital Songs and Alternative Songs charts.
