Kylie Loves Vacations’ 'Love At First Sight' Cover
The band previously described the Kylie Minogue classic as "one of the best songs in the world."

Last month, Aussie indie rockers Vacations covered the Kylie Minogue classic, Love At First Sight, for Spotify Singles.
Describing the pop tune as “one of the best songs in the world,” it seems that the band’s indie rock take on the song has gotten the approval of Kylie Minogue herself.
On Saturday (30 November), the band shared a snippet of their cover of the song on Instagram and captioned the post, “Still reeling from this opportunity to cover the Queen of Pop, @kylieminogue, and work out of the Spotify studios in LA. Hope you’re still dancing like us.”
Kylie responded to the post with a string of positive emojis, such as the eyes welling up, a smiley emoji, and five kissy faces. The band’s management, Handshake Artist Management, replied to Minogue with three love hearts.

Vacations’ guitarist Nate Delizzotti explained the motivations behind choosing Love At First Sight as their cover, coining it as “one of the best songs in the world”.
He added: “We’re trying to pay homage to the cover, but it's inevitably going to be different because of our respective playing styles [and] our own influences.”
Vacations toured across Australia on their No Place Like Home tour in July.
Earlier this year, the band were The Music cover stars and featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Vacations have found massive success in the US, with the group gaining their second Platinum certification last December for their 2018 track Telephones.
Meanwhile, for Kylie Minogue, the singer recently released the sister album to her latest album, Tension, with Tension II. The album arrived just weeks after she announced her highly anticipated Tension Tour of Australia.
Minogue will tour Australia in February and March 2025, playing in arenas across the country. She said of the tour, “I am beyond excited to announce the TENSION TOUR 2025.
“I can’t wait to share beautiful and wild moments with fans all over the world, celebrating the Tension era and more! It’s been an exhilarating ride so far, and now, get ready for your close-up because I will be calling Lights, Camera, Action… and there will be a whole lot of Padaming!”
