The Aussie icon stepped out in a surprise cameo at the Enmore last night
The revelation of Coldplay's Sydney-shot clip for A Sky Full Of Stars ran the risk of being overshadowed when the lauded Brit pop-rock juggernauts were joined by Aussie icon Kylie Minogue at their sold-out Enmore Theatre show last night.
Taking to the stage to join Chris Martin and co. for renditions of her chart hit Can't Get You Out Of My Head and Nick Cave collab Where The Wild Roses Grow, Kylie's appearance was an unexpected treat for the show's punters; though, really, we shouldn't expect any less from -- love them or hate them -- one of the world's foremost stadium acts.
If you weren't there, enjoy this handy fan-shot footage of the meeting of two of contemporary pop music's biggest legends.
Kylie's cameo was far from the only exciting thing that happened for Coldplay yesterday, however.

Their video for new single A Sky Full Of Stars, which was shot on the streets of Newtown on Tuesday and stars, like, a mind-numbing number of mobile phones, has now officially hit the web -- kudos on the turnaround, post-production team -- and is available for you to view in all its hyper-colourful, abundantly joyous glory.
You'll note some iconic Newtown scenery, the carefree abandon with which the army of 250 Twitter-recruited extras march behind the pop idols... and, yes, the sea of cell phones being waved around like feather dusters (you're already in the clip, you don't need to film it for yourself for posterity, surely).
Still, it's a fun-enough casual stroll through an Aussie locale, so there's plenty going for it.
The hullabaloo Down Under all forms part of the band's current promotional jaunt in service of most recent LP Ghost Stories, which dropped mid-last month.
